Exactly.

The far right have been here causing trouble for many years. In the last 100 years we've had Oswald Mosley's blackshirts targetting Jews in the 1930s. We've had the National Front, the BNP and many other fascist groups targetting people based on the colour of their skin and now we've got the EDL targetting people based on their religion. Through it all we've had the Daily Mail stoking the flames. The far right won't go away if Islamic extremism stops.

Before anyone comes back and says they don't blow people up, remember David Copeland. His bombing campaign in 1999 pre-dates all the Islamic fundamentalist terrorist incidents in this country.

The news hasn't reached them all yet, as the smoke signals take time to work their way through the valleys.

Plus it will take them a while to understand where London is. The world stops at Newport for a lot of them.

Again, good points raised here. There appears to be, after every atrocity, a rush to tell everyone that mainstream
muslims abhor, reject etc; these events, rather than asking the general person on the street his/her feelings or opinions.
The incarceration of the demographics you refer to were swift and all encompassing, because with bombs raining down
and battles raging, there was no time to discuss anyone's human rights. Anyone with half a brain knows most muslims do not
involve themselves, or condone such acts, we don't need to be told this constantly, yet it occurs with depressing regularity.

I'll remember this post the next time someone asks why Muslims don't condemn the extremist nutters.

This is from just before the election, but was only published over here 2 days ago, but IMO he makes an excellent point about us having a proper discussion about extremism...
