Continuing on from the Interview thread...

First ever paid proper job was as a fourteen year old in 2000 at Hungry Jacks (you may know it better as Burger King).
Worked for the princely sum of $4.86 an hour... just over 2 quid.

Shocking conditions, especially on hot days, long hours, and made to feel useless. Welcome to the fast food industry.

Pot washer at the local chinky. The Chef used to cook a big meal for all to share at the end of the night and it caused my farts to fucking well stink on the Sunday. Horrific.

Worked at Burger King near Toys R Us in Bolton. got paid £2.30 an hour and the hours were shocking. The best perk of the job was throwing rotten tomatos at the "R" on the toys r us sign, bous points were awarded for getting them in the vents on the roof. One year there were massive queues in the middle of the night to get teletubby dolls, people started joining in with our game, very nearly caused the riot police to come out.

Worked in the freezer section of Morrisons.

They had a massive freezer in the back. Used to go in and shut the doot, open up some frozen burgers and have a little game of hockey with some old pipe.
