Thank fuck Watford have terrible wingers else we'd have been in big trouble. Clichy was an absolute horror show last night.

Its not just his poor defending and non-existent attacking its his lack of situational awareness, two or three times the ball was passed into space for him and he reacted too late. Its like hes never played football before, which is incredible for someone with experience and for someone who was once a very good full back.

Has gone completely, worse than Kolarov even. Don't remember when he had a decent game for us last.

This position is going to cost us this season. It's been coming for years and the lack of investment in the full back areas has been a major error of judgement.

In fairness I thought he looked very hesitant to commit to tackles and interceptions last night in the first half which is very unlike Clichy. He needs replacing but he's still better than the traffic cone that is Kolarov.

Whilst he didn't have a great game, it must be hard for all the defenders who never play more than 1 game in a row before the system or personnel are changed.
