He's the leader of a political party. A manifesto is a collection of policies compromising the collective views of that party. There's very often people whose views are more left or more right wing than the document. That's how negotiations work.
Do you think it's possible he has simply chosen to keep quiet out of political expediency?

I'd like to think your mind is not so utterly closed as to rule this out.

What i find interesting is that us Tories seem prepared to call our leader a fucking idiot. But you Labour supporters on here seem incapable of criticizing your fucking idiot.

I've found that a lot of Labour voters vote for them because their dad did & their dad did. Some actually believe that they are still the champions of the working class.

Exactly. Corbyn clearly listens to others which is a value we should not just want in our politicians but expect. He eventually gave a good answer to the audience member when he made the point that ears can be just as important as mouth in being a leader. As he evidences, he understands there's no point trying to force his views on everyone - love him or hate him, nobody should be failing to understand this. Paxman was just amateurishly wrong on that front.

Treason,
Is it 1605 ffs

Well we have a socialist Labour leader, people whinging about the threat of nuclear attack, a debate about the monarchy and the IRA so I'm pretty sure we're in an alternative Universe 1980s.

Thought the music's fucking shit mate.

He's a politician?

Why do we bother with any at all? Bring back the Queen as decision maker...

Because his beliefs are far more left wing than his manifesto. As paxo demonstrated.

Do I need to refer back to my original reply to you?

"Leadership"??

How about lying about his preparedness to press the nuclear button. Or his desire to nationalise the banks. Or his support for the IRA. Just off the top of my head like.

If you notice, at no point has he ever said he'd 'push the button', as far as I know. If he has, it would be an entirely last resort, not a first option.

Fair enough, I say.

He'll address nationalisation of banks after other things are nationalised first. Why nationalise everything at once.

Good strategy.

He's not an IRAQI sympathiser. Being against all war and not singling out one, doesn't make you a sympathiser, but it WOULD make you a hypocrite.

He avoided losing his integrity on this.

You can't knock that.

Go on, say something bad about him. I dare you.

That is an issue with voters across the politial spectrum (there are many that vote Conservative for the same reason) and is largely geographic.

<Holds head in hands.>

Just be honest for God's sake. Say something bad about him, you won't look less of a man.
