Geronimo Rulli

hes on loan but sociedad will buy him from us in January but we will have buyback clause

This option to buy thing, if they decide to exercise the option are we obliged to sell or could we in theory bring him into our squad from January?

We can't do fuck all unless he agrees to come here and he's made it fairly clear he won't do that unless he's first choice keeper.

We are obligated to sell and then 18 months later we have the option to buy back. Absolutely brilliant work by Tixki. People slating him have no clue at the level he works at.

might be a daft question but, who sets the selling price to sociedad....and do we have the option to buy back at that same price or can sociedad slap any crazy price they want on him?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but we will be able to buy him back in 2018 for about £11m. If we choose not to trigger this clause, and Real Sociedad decides to sell him to someone else, we will get 30% of the transfer fee.

This makes sense with Bravo now. Bravo stays for the next 2-3 years and we then have Rulli as our no.1.
