No, not the route of all PLLK's fantasies but the root of good cooking and very healthy to boot. I find myself using it all the time in my cooking, just made a great chicken noodle and ginger soup, has it's own kinda buzz almost like horseradish and good for what ails you.
Good biscuits too dunked in a cuppa

Magic stuff. Nearly anything I make with garlic and chili gets ginger too.
Good in hot water with lemon as a change from tea.
No time for the soul-less day walkers that smell of piss mind.

Why do they smell of piss? One of life's mysteries

Unscrupulous horse traders would often perk up a tired old nag by sticking a handful of ginger up its arse.

Jamaican ginger cake rocks, I struggle not to eat a whole one with copious amounts of tea once its opened. I bought 3 of them as they were on offer for a quid in the Spar near me.

Warning last time I mentioned ginger cake on here, it all went south, I wish for better luck with this.
