Jamaican ginger cake rocks, I struggle not to eat a whole one with copious amounts of tea once its opened. I bought 3 of them as they were on offer for a quid in the Spar near me.

Warning last time I mentioned ginger cake on here, it all went south, I wish for better luck with this.

Cup of ginger and honey in boiling water when you have a cough works a treat.

Or Stones ginger wine with a dash of hot water too, fresh liquerice root boiled up also a great cough remedy.

Ginger is a fantastic root, though I prefer galangal for a lot of dishes, but fresh ginger enhances some great food.

What's this Jamaican ginger cake all about? I've been to Jamaica a few times and I've never seen it or heard it mentioned.
Is it one of those things like, English muffins and steak Canadian.
