The German rags are a vile, bitter club. However, other German clubs must be wise to them by now, any top prospect at your club they’re sniffing around needs his contract renewed before getting to less than two years remaining.
If they don’t want to renew then offer him to any big club elsewhere in Europe willing to pay a reasonable transfer fee. It would send a big fuck you message and stop the arrogant ****s in their tracks. And if the player won’t play ball remind him 2 years is a long time spent training on your own. Simple.

Leverkusen did that with Vidal and Juve a while back when Bayern tapped him up and tried to lowball them. Think they actually sold him to Juve for less than Bayern offered as a "fuck you".
