I liked them before they decided to completely sell out.
"Longview", "Stuck with Me" and "Hitchin' a Ride" are my favourite tracks of theirs.
Agree with this. They became an abomination.

Not a fan, the singer tried too hard to be Joe Strummer. I would rather my kid want to see them than justice beaver though.

Spent four months on detachment in Turkey on a US Base in '95... played Dookie in the office every day for the whole tour.. Love Green Day.. never seen them but I'd love to...

Saw the musical at the Palace last year.. American Idiot... really enjoyed it.. a bird off the X Factor was in it, she wasn't great but the lead had an alter ego who was ace... a bit of a Rik Mayall type character.. worth watching if you get chance
