Didn’t Steve Eyre mention it could happen on Blue Tuesday before back tracking?
Not a Pep type.
The sort of story we see every year, leaked by selling clubs, to drive up the selling price to the club that's really interested. In this case Madrid have been trailing Kane for a couple of seasons.
No player deserve more than 100m but Messi, Hazard & Mbappe.
I can see Pep playing 3-5-2 in a lot of games next season. Kane would score 40 goals a season for us.
We need another striker so why not buy one of the best available.
You can throw in De Bruyne, Neymar and Kane if you're adding Hazard.
About as likely as us selling De Bruyne to Spurs.
It was about players we dont have.
Yes and there's quite a few of those that are top quality.
Not really a fair comparison. However if De Bruyne wanted badly enough to go to Spurs and was determined to do so then it would be difficult to stop that happening. Likewise anyone including Kane wanting to come the other way. After all Walker came from there.
I would only be mildly surprised if such a move were to happen, but at the end of the day if a player felt that joining Manchester City represented his best chance of furthering his career then I see very few players who it would be impossible to come here. Barca and Real surely being the only clubs outside the Prem who could make a case for that?
