No. Why would there.

Low risk = low return.

Actually it means less than inflation return.

£1 under the bed since 1983 equals 32p
£1 in the bank since 1983 equals £1.33

£1 held in UK shares since 1983 equals £11.66
£1 held in govt bonds since 1983 equals £2.42
