How far do you live from the stadium?

I've never seen a bike shed around the stadium. Has anyone ever cycled to games? I'm thinking of it but fear the wheels gte nicked.

Cycle to every home game (all the 4.8 miles for Stretford) and have never had any bother. There are bike racks and I suppose even the Showsec stewards deter thieves.

I live in Royal Mills at Ancoats so generally walk to the game which takes about 20 minutes or so (1.3 miles according to google maps). Pleasant enough although if it's pissing down I try to flag down a cab which can be easier said than done!

Do you count +1 every step or just every other step (i.e. every time your left foot hits the floor)?

I now live 45miles away (formby) takes about an hour to get to the stadium if we drive. As a kid I gre up in Wythenshawe/Northenden which at the time was not far from Maine Road
