How to go about getting unblocked from a thread

I think you recieve an official notification from admin if you get a thread ban - or presume so, I'm not entirely sure.
I noticed the thread had disappeared but put it down to being cleaned up after that last couple of pages started to go off topic.

Ok, I'm guessing it's that then. Damn it, I hate unnecessary threads but cheers for the response.

Where would I find that? There's no alert on my homepage.

Go to the top of the page on the right side and click on inbox,it'll be in there
