....if Leicester won the Premier League?

Me? I'd be genuinely chuffed. I'd rather we won it, obviously, but I'd be seriously made up if the Foxes held their nerve and won the title.

We've got plenty of good seasons ahead. We're in for some fantastic years in front of us as City fans, both on and off the pitch. That makes finishing second this season, bearable.

Leicester winning the league would be such a great story and be something football fans would talk about for decades.

Initially I would be gutted we hadn't won it but I would rather foxes than arses or spuds chavs rags dippers etc.

I'd rather they win it than us, on the final day too.

We're going to win the league for the foreseeable future and let's face it, Leicester probably aren't. Our time will come again as it has before.

If after everything the Leicester City fans have gone through, they can have one moment of absolute ecstasy as we did in 2012 then it will be talked about by their fans for generations to come. Every young lad now will be telling their grandkids about how Jamie Vardy was better than Messi and they scraped through the elite and nicked the title. It will give all of their fans the same sense of fulfillment that all of the relegations, promotions and long trips to midweek games in Grimsby were actually worth it and reward them for their loyalty through hard times.

I wish every single football fan in the country could experience that same catharsis as we did when we won the FA Cup and then the league.

If we win it we'll add it to a steadier growing collection and nobody is going to be telling their grandkids about the day that they lifted their third title in the space of a period of dominance.

We can wait another year, they probably can't.

Sunday League kick and rush football. No I want us to win it.
Leicester can take the kudos from finishing in the top 4 and we can all watch them embarrass themselves in Europe next year. Their brand of football is unlikely to work against 10 man defences with players who specialise in technical games and not the huff and puff of the PL.
I would be amazed if it turned out differently.
Does anybody not think Vardy will be found out next year?
Mahrez is a very good player mind you. I'd have him here in a shot. Weather Pep would is another matter.

I can understand people being happy for them if they won it. I can understand people wanting them to win it if we don't. I could never understand anyone wanting them to win it rather than us. Jeebus Damo, I hope you've got your tin hat on.

I'd like the Leicester fans, another long suffering group like we were, to have a monumetous occassion in their history rather than us having another notch on the bedpost before Guardiola comes in and dominates. This title just doesn't really matter to us, it isn't going to affect anything in the future because our future is set. If anything it's a send off to a manager, which is nice but nobody will care about it in twenty years. Leicester will care about theirs for another 100 years and it will not only pay off their loyalty over the decades but sustain them throughout any future hardships.

I can't understand City fans who know where we came from and what a title meant to us wanting us to win it in front of a group of fans who haven't won the league in decades.

I concur with your first sentence, but not under any circumstances would I like them to win at our expense. As for the title not mattering to us. Speak for yourself, it certainly matters to me.
