With the players at his disposal we should not be 1 point from the relegation zone or 2 points above bottom placed. This record is arguably worse than Ball and Clark and put together.

Ball nor Clark had anywhere near the talent that Hughes has got in this squad and yet if we're not careful we could end up in a relegation battle. Our next three games are all very difficult and we could easily be bottom by the time we've played United.

We are well and truly in a relegation battle right now! Wake up and smell the coffee.

Do these moaners actually attend games?

A couple of key signings and this team is on the up, make no mistake.

There's only 3 points separating bottom of the league with 10th place so 50% of the teams in the Premiership, at least, are well in the relegation dogfight at present. We WON'T be involved in this battle come the end of the season. We'll struggle this month, back to back home games against Arsenal and United are extremely hard fixtures and I'd be happy to get anything out of those games.

I'm disappointed with our form, and our league position. Forget the 3 homes defeats, as each had mitigating circumstances (the opposition was one of the best in the World, we had a deficit of players etc) it's the away defeats to Boro, Bolton and Wigan that hurt. Those are sides we should be beating, they will be bottom half sides come May and, as a team with UEFA qualification ambitions, we should be looking to, at least, draw those matches.

He'll be gone in 5 games. Look at them.

Hull (away)
Arsenal (home)
United (home)
Fulham (away)
Everton (home)

I cant see us taking any points from them games with the way we have played. Maybe 1 point from Everton, with our away form so poor its looking like the turkey might be alive longer on the run up til Xmas
