If the FA decided to ban transfers altogether, and signing new players to academies became illegal too, what club would be the best in the world in five years? And how might they line up?

Personally I'm going with City. We have Sané, Iheanacho, Sterling, García, Angelino, Maffeo, Adarabioyo, Stones, Díaz and Gunn. Out on loan there's Denayer, Rulli, Jesus, Roberts, Celina, Unal, Yeboah, Manu García, Moreno, Zinchenko and other pretty high potential players. Plus Gundogan, Aguero, De Bruyne, Otamendi, and maybe Kompany would all still be playing at that time.

Rulli
Maffeo Stones Otamendi Angelino
A. García
Gundogan De Bruyne
Sterling Iheanacho Jesus

Gunn, Adarabioyo, Denayer, Zinchenko, Roberts, Unal, Aguero
