And the finals are incoming so they have to happen now. They’re meaningless in result and performance but as the England manager, they’re critical to getting ideas across and trying systems. Which means some of the top players playing.
Don’t understand how Stones can be getting pelters. But also don’t understand how some players aren’t nurtured better when they’re injury prone. There has to be more sense applied all round. Personally, I’d be fuming if City miss out because of England, especially when the guy in charge is a handbrake anyway.

So if they have to play these games, do so with common sense e.g what is he learning after 80 mins keeping Foden on? This now feels like playing the result, not the prep as a friendly. Which is what really pisses people off.

Whoever is fit or not, the problems will get worse, Uefa and Fifa want more club international games and national games, at this rate top sides will need 30-40 World class players every season. It is crazy, it is time for the fans to put pressure in the authorities instead of moaning about their own clubs. Some might say this gives lesser teams a chance, but they will go bankrupt if they try to compete at the top level, the game is doomed until we get rid of Uefa, Fifa and the Premier League.
