There were a lot of mistakes made that day by the police, but they are not the only ones at fault. The Liverpool fans who thought they could turn up without a ticket and just barge their way in must take some repsonsibility for Hillsborough too.

I always thought people had got in with fake tickets and the fans with proper tickets then forced their way in, as was their right so to speak.

The ones with the fakes are the one's that caused the crush and the police and stewards didnt cover themselves in glory afterwards.
