Great news, both good teams that will get better. Will be interesting o see what their attendances will be like though. Would be happy to see Morgan play Test Cricket for Ireland but not sure how that would affect his ability to play the shorter game for England, so I guess he'll have a big decision to make.

Can't see them getting big attendances, to be honest. Cricket is very much a minority and niche sport over here. They get middling attendances for their one day games, but I can't see the proper form of the game getting, er, "massive" crowds. In the summer (or what passes for it over here), GAA is king.

Great news. Hoping England announce a 5 test tour of Ireland sometime soon - they'll have to play the matches at Croke Park with the amount of England fans piling over there for the piss up!

Time to set up a 2 league test system, they will be just even more cricket England and India play so much cricket with hardly any break.
