Just a Lennon with a half decent cross. Come up against a defender who can time tackles and have some positional sense then he's shrugged aside. Phil Neville this year for example.

Joe hart el rapido

he didnt beat Sagna once, so predictable, if you match him for pace, he's got nothing

Hm, shame we can't then. Of our full backs, Richards would run him closest but he's still way faster than him.
Also, your statement could as easily be applied to Walcott.

maybe, but wilshere got a goal and assists, and also managed to miss a big chance(not proud of it) but he did contribute far more to the game. And in general he contributes more as he scores and assists more than Bale

I think he's actually easy enough to stop. He wants to run straight past people. Teams have figured out that they can foul him before he gets going.

In the last couple of months, he's been kicked, shoved, smashed, clattered, tripped, bashed, whacked, thumped, and more. I'm torn between admiring him for just going for it regardless, and pitying him for being so naive.

A better footballer, a more crafty and clever player, wouldn't be caught in this way, repeatedly getting taken out, usually just getting a free kick by the touchline, 40 yards out. He'd draw 'better' fouls in more dangerous areas, or get his opponent booked or sent off.

Messi certainly wouldn't go blithely charging in to the goalkeeper's path for a ball he can't win, because he knows if he can't win the game if he ends up in hospital.

Well..i rate Walcott higher than Bale, if Walcott just could keep himself fit a season...he would destroy in the premier league.

Sagna absolutely owned Bale and he (Bale) is so predicatable. Pace and cross is all he has (for now). He can't dribble like Messi or Ronaldo. There are so many better dribblers.

But Sagna kept him quiet which resulted in Bale getting frustrated and challenging the goalkeeper in the air (which is stupid IMO)....and then running crazy and trying to catch the ball when the goalkeeper is thre first.

Bale ended the Arsenal game in embarrassing manner. 'arry is doing the wrong thing and overhyping Bale. He puts pressure on Bale. And this results in Bale trying to hard to impress and justify the hype. Which he clearly isn't.
