Manchester City have set their sights on French starlet Issa Diop - according to reports.

Pep Guardiola is ready to challenge Porto and Roma for the centre back, who is an under 19 international.

According to L’Equipe, City want to get a deal done for the Toulouse defender before the transfer window closes next week.

If he bulks up a little bit, he could very easily be the next Kompany. He is defensively sound however unlike Vinnie, he's very ill disciplined AND CRUCIALLY his passing isn't all that great... 75.5% with an average of 35.5 passes per game.
