Jadon Sancho

Nothing to do with 'courage'. It takes more 'courage' for an English kid to move to Germany at 17.

Whether we like it or not, there are other teams in the world & if Sancho makes it at Dortmund, he will be at a fine club & if he stars there, will get a transfer to a club as big or bigger than City.

He behaved like a twat at City, & his lack of football has probably delayed his involvement at Dortmund, but his reasons for leaving are perfectly sound & will only be brought into question when City actually start to bring through players, & use them, something we are currently one of the worst clubs in Europe for doing.

As victor Meldrew alluded to, it will be a short stay in Germany, it smacks of brown envelopes....

He makes Jessie 'the Scroate' Lingard look mature, intelligent and modest, a chavy half-wit with an ego the size of the Grand Canyon, Billy Big balls.

The lad is 17 years old and is just at the start of his full playing career which all being well should take him well into his mid thirties

It's ridiculously rare for a 17 year old to make an impact and hold a regular place at a top club, so it's nothing unusual that Sancho wasn't involved with the first team on match days
What he should have considered was his long term career and did he have the nouse, skill and cahoonas to really compete for a place in two years time (replacing Dave Silva) and allow himself to be nurtured. We've all seen that Rooney has totally burnt out, whether that be by playing too much football as a relative youngster or by lifestyle is up for debate, but it's probably a bit of both

Sancho may not be a "Billy Big Nuts" and has considered all his options and thought moving on is the best thing for his career and that City will only ever buy, rather than promote from within
But fair fucks to the lad for moving to a foreign land. It shows he has some balls

to hold a regular place maybe its rare, but to get chances isn't. at any other club then city or chelsea imo sancho would/is getting lots of chances and not just the odd cup game like he would with us. i think he did consider his long term career, playing for dortmunds first team - at a club thats known for developing young players.

Got 10 minutes off the bench vs Bayern tonight. Massive for him.

Didn’t we get £10m for him? I would expect him to play. Don’t see him becoming the next big thing. They’ll make a profit but it won’t reach Dembele numbers IMO.

why did he leave the england under 17 world cup squad to play a couple of bit parts at club level so daft by all the people involved with him and its like a pimp the agent selling is soul for 30 pieces of silver loved watching him last season in man city fa youth cup he was going in the right way and pep and city was right he was never ready for first team football and had many faults and weakness and was silly at times even at youth level spat his dummy out when the ball was not coming his way its all about team spirit and play for the team not just on his own it was never about the team or club with him

sadly i think its going to end up only one way and the lessons you learn at youth level takes you on the the next levels and on to better thing if you listen and work hard if you think your ready at 17 or 18 and don't listen to a manager of pep standers what chance do you really have at first team football and other managers and club will see it too ok you are at a good club and got a great deal but your chances of playing are going to be slim or the club have a injury crisis and no other option

He’ll end up at the Rags. To be fair he will fit in just fine there with Rashford, Pogba and Lingard. All fucking premadonnas!

Yet he was homesick for London when he was playing in Manchester!!

Good post.

He must be gutted he didn’t get to play in the final. Foden was the star of show. I reallly hope Foden is at least on the bench vs Arsenal.

In place of whom?

Can’t see it personally.

The amount of bitterness on here from grown adults towards a 17 year old is pretty staggering.
