Jadon Sancho

And of course, they’re both such paragons of reputable journalism that neither one of them ever prints anything other than the truth about City.

I guess that was the joke "lol"

So we are no further towards knowing the actual truth unfortunately.

City were extremely keen to keep the hugely talented English forward but Sancho - concerned about his first-team prospects - signed for German side Borussia Dortmund for a reported £8m on 31 August.

Since then, he has won an Under-17 World Cup with England, become friends with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and started to make an impact in the Bundesliga hahahahhahahahahahahahaahhahaahaha

what a crock of shit won the under17 world cup hahahahaha one game and went home hahahahahaha

It takes an incredible amount of belief and bravery to turn your back on Manchester City and manager Pep Guardiola when you are just 17 hhahahahahahahaah another crock of shit was 4th in line at best to get a place hahahahaha

just shows what the media can do if you are not at manchester city and to big this lad up is wrong on many accounts. lets get it right greed and the agent pimped him wanted more money at city lets get it right nothing to do with first time football and was not even the best at his level

Assuming you're a grown adult, I actually feel embarrassed for you for this post.

Interesting article on BBC regarding Jadon Sancho.

Im sure this was discussed a lot when he left but now he has a handful of games at Dortmund..what is our views?

BBC paint him as humble and determined but did he huff when his new City contract wasnt enough..was it money? playing time? loan option? Is he another Daniel Sturridge and look how that turned out. Foden and Diaz are breaking through a bit but still a season or 2 off being established.

Everyone in the England set up seems to think he is the real deal and Dortmund/Germany have a proven youth success ratio.

I think we were prepared to offer him big money but he wanted game time. Either way, fair play to him. I’m not going to hold a grudge against a kid that wants to gain first team experience at a big club, he was never going to get sufficient minutes at City this season.

Maybe you have a counter argument, being an adult?

Well he was starting matches for Dortmund before his injury, which suggests that he is making some sort of impact. He's played more minutes in the league this season than Foden and Brahim combined.

He played all three group games at the U17 World Cup before he was recalled by Dortmund so I'm pretty sure he would have got a winners medal.

And it does take an element of belief and bravery for a 17 year old to turn down £30k a week to go and ply his trade in a new country where he doesn't speak the language.

It's funny how nobody had an issue when he left Watford to join City for (presumably) more money. Or nobody has an issue when the likes of Lorenzo Gonzales, Nabil Touaizi and Benjamin Garre leave their clubs to join City.

I have no issues with him moving on elsewhere if that what he feels is best for his career, in fact going to Germany to do it is to be admired & good luck to him, let's hope he's a big success & an asset to England.

The problem is the way he went about it leaves a bit of a sour taste. By not turning up for training & not treating the club with the respect it treated him with he let himself down. He's young, you hope he'll learn & maybe one day he'll come back to City
