His contract is up, there is just no way he is getting a new one as he's already barely playing these days. Don't get the moaning in this thread though, he always gives his best, and he's been a great servant for these past 4 seasons.

I have to agree. It really is a poor return in terms of goals. However, he always puts in a shift and would have got a lot more assists if
we had more of a goal line predator to meet those crosses he fizzes across the box with no particular direction.

I really didn't like him from the beginning. I thought he has nothing to offer us, I liked Adam J. much more, and I was always frustrated by his lack of thinking on the pitch. But I will never say anything to offend him as he was a good servant for the club and a really nice character. Wish him all the best at Sevilla.

Fantastic engine & work rate but does his best work going backwards rather than forwards.

Showed great bottle to take & score a penalty in the shoot out at Wembers when others incl Razza bottled it.

Hope he's happy & does well where ever he goes. Seems a good lad.

No chance. Jovetic was bang average and never fit. Navas has been a solid squad player, he was a big part of the 13/14 win, and though he's never been as good, he's still done a job in some of our biggest games in recent years and always given 110%.

37 assists in 3 1/2 seasons really isn't such a bad return either, it's just the completely lack of goalscoring thats an issue.

We have other players are more than capable in chipping in and providing the extra creativity . Navas offers us the defensive side of the game which was lacking.
