Jo- Svens parting gift

Jo is a good young player.

He is a second striker, he like all the others strikers we have cannot play that lone man role on his own. It is killing Jo, Big Phil and Sturridge. The only one who was good at it was Benjani and that tells you alot.

EXACTLY, the ignorance of Jo's position on this forum is staggering. He likes to run at defenders, he is not and has never been a player who can hold up the ball and play others in; that was Vágner Love's job at CSKA Moscow- can anyone name a time Jo has been played as a second striker with another commanding striker in front of him? In addition one of his representatives stated when he signed for City that it would take until Jan/Feb possibly the end of the season before we would see the best of him, his time to prove himself is coming, but not yet; I'd like him to succeed, but who knows.

Jo shows some nice touches. Jo scores the odd goal. But more importantly, Jo has no heart, no determination, no fight. Not good enough to be just talented, in the Premier league you need to be comitted and work hard.

He was bought under Thaksin, there's no way he cost us £19 million in cash.

He couldn't even afford to pay the installments due on Elano, Petrov, Corluka and Bojinov at the beginning of the season. Pretty sure that's what the Ireland/Corluka sales were going to pay for.

And Brazil are known for handed out caps for the fun of it to drive up the price of players in the local league to prospective European clients.
