Job application help.

Got a few forms to fill out, but the stickler question for me is

"Please summarise breifly why would you like to become part of our company"

I cant exactly put "Because it will pay me to live a lifestyle" which is the main reason why I go to work,
Heeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllllllllp as to what crap they want to hear

talk about the company

talk about the skills that you have that fit in with the job description

talk about wanting to use these skills

furthering a career? i.e. you see this as the next step in your career progression? prestigious organisation etc.

Do some research on the company. Find out what their ethos/priorities are and adapt your reply accordingly.

They national companies, I will be a small cog in a big piece of machinery,
They already have around 3000 of me there.

Just look at the job description and put down how the skills you have fit in with what they want. That is all any company want to see.
