Well there are certainly rumours he undermined one manager, but I don't think that was terribly important, as the club wanted rid of that manager anyway.

His form was partly to do with it, the rest I'll leave to the words in my original reply....

The club certainly wanted rid of Joe, and Pep was convenient cover to do so, but from the little I've heard, it was very much down to things Joe was doing.

For all we know, he now may have a different perspective and focus on life having just recently married. Financially, I am sure he is secure for life and he may just have greater priorities outside of football. In the fullness of time, I'm sure all will come out in the wash

Right perhaps this also explains why he does not seem to be able to find a new club in England then.

we'll end up flogging him for 5mil. No-one wants him. Real shame for a great servant to our club.

Apparently one of Pep's first team meeting revolved around how he wanted us to play. He had no intention of getting rid of Hart. However, when he discussed how he wanted to change his game, Hart replied with something along the lines of "I'm don't need to change my game I'm England's number one" and it went from there. If true, then from the outset he felt he could call the shots, with the manager who had the full backing of the club.

I hope so, but I see bankruptcy in his future.

Its related third hand as I heard from someone else, so it could well be bollocks, or it could be on the money, who knows.

I know some footballers are not the sharpest tools, but saying something like that to a new manager who you know the board rate, just smacks of bollocks to me
