he was superb but IMO he was at fault for the goal.

I agree.

He is at fault because the ball got past him, HOWEVER, he did what he should have in closing down the attacker. So it's a bit of good and bad.

with in the first 30 minutes I knew a lot of problems have been solved with this purchase.

he looks so comfortable with the ball, it gives the other backs that extra confidence to keep passing the ball

Very impressed with him today. If I didn't know better i would have never thought Stones has only had a few training sessions with the team and that Kolarov was actually a LB.

Still has a lot of work to do on his rash defending...Quality in possession though, kept it simple today, imagine we'll see him threading it after a few games.
