He is the type of defender that will always make a mistake, it is the nature of the game Pep wants him to play, he has taken some unwarranted stick on this site and it is good to see him start to turn people's opinions about him around, he will be a quality defender for years to come and we will be glad to have him through out the best years of his career, a future captain imo.

Very good yesterday, seems a lot more aggressive in 1v1 situations, and he was pretty fucking good when in possession.

He made a few mistakes against Watford, one which could have been even costly (albeit at like 0-4), but some neat play out from the back and showed great aggression and acceleration too. There was one moment, maybe I'll do a gif later, where we seemed to do a bit too of this passing thingy out from defense, and then he just suddenly dribbled past his close opponent and played a brilliant pass to Sterling in which he cut through their whole two defensive blocks. Also, he seems to be definitely developing his positional play sense as we saw such nice rotation between him and Walker and De Bruyne throughout the game.
