Yes.

Pep employed him in centre defence though because of injuries and because of they were already sorted in CM (Xabi, Vidal, Thiago). Proved to be a great creative ball-playing CB, but of course highly error-prone. He had some brilliant games and some other brilliant ones where he made one or two big errors.

I'm calling huge bollocks on this story though.
