He was given round about enough chance when he was fit and never seemed to fill a slot, seems a top fella though of the pitch.

Had so much hope for him when he signed. Thought he was going to be our best signing in that window. He was highly rated in Italy before his injuries, I believe juve wanted to sign him too. Shame it didn't work out. Remember he started against Liverpool and scored in the beginning of his second season with us. Thought he was finally gonna put his injury nightmare behind him and start regularly for us. Alas
