Just seen a video of the collision on Twitter. Yes; it's a heavy clash. But it's the sort of incident you'll have seen countless times down the years. Did the fella have an underlying medical issue? The panic evident when the paramedics were treating him is a tough watch.

He suffered chest and jaw injures and that sent him into cardiac arrest,if you get a kick in the chest that can happen sadly

Doesn't appear to have, reading the report above, and 500+ games wouldn't suggest it either, it suggests he sustained head and chest injuries, that caused a cardiac arrest.Did the fella have an underlying medical issue?
It shows that an innocent collision can turn serious, we've seen it ourselves this season with Ederson v Mane, which could easily have been far more serious than it turned out, had it been into throat level for instance.
