Can't find the thread about KDB's continued absence post Euro 2016 (perhaps it' a million miles away!); anyway, to ease the worries of the poster who was flapping big style....

Because the medical staff thinks that he need more recuperation time than the other players?
I suppose that he get no special treatment so it will be because of fysical needs.

De Bruyne: "He [Guardiola] has his tactics. I do not really play as a number 10, more as a free 8. There is a lot of movement everywhere."
De Bruyne: "Everyone is starting to understand it but you see sometimes that one is thinking: ‘Where should I run?’"
De Bruyne: "It’s good. It’s very different from last year, as with every coach. It’s a different way of working, of living."
