Think it's time to open this season's thread for him too as he was magnificent all game. He almost made me forget about our Merlin. :)

KDB... What a player. Can't think of anyone in the world like him. Last season all those crossbars.. If they'd have gone in he'd be in contention for player of the season.

IMO, his best performance under Pep, never lost the ball. Let's see if he can repeat it in the official matches.

That was him at his best, absolute joy to watch. Watching him in full flow like that is something else!

Due to the formation he had less defensive duties and wasn't being relied on to bring the ball out, so could receive the ball higher up the pitch and cause damage.\

Bit unnecessary, not very "friendly" but considering he sometimes gets flak for not putting himself about a bit more.

if we had better conversion he would have set the all time record for assists in the season. even when he is at his worst he'll put a ball or two for a sitter per match.

His problem is not the number of goals/assists but the fact that he loses the ball too easily and struggles to pass under pressure. But today he was flawless in that respect, wonder if he's capable to mantain it further.
