Dont know if this has already been posted (did a search, couldnt see anything). Heard this on the radio this morning and it got to me a bit. Dont know the family or anything but the story is pretty upsetting. I've thrown a few quid in to help, just thought i'd bring it to anyones attention who wanted to have 1 pint less on friday night and help out :)

There are a few things going on with this (he lives just around the corner from me) and any help anyone can offer would be fantastic.

There are numerous events scheduled, or being sceduled to take place for Harely.

Here is a sample of one of the articles for the little man:

"Harley Slack is a 4 year boy from Stockport who was admitted to Stepping Hill Hospital in the early hours of May 18th with a sore throat & temperature. This actually turned out to be Meningitis B. That night Doctors managed to revive him 3 times after his heart stopped.

Just when Harley's condition stabilized, and Harleys family thought he might pull through, his body came out in open blisters as septicaemia spread through his body.

Harley was in a bad way and went black from head to toe. The only bit of him that was white were his eyelids. At one point we thought he might not just lose his limbs, but also his ears and his nose. A decision had to be taken by the doctors earlier this month to stabilize his critical condition by amputating all of his limbs, his legs below the knees and his arms below the elbows. Once the amputations had taken place they said he was off the critical list. But he came so close to dying.

Harley has had 10 operations so far.

Harleys parents are hoping to raise £100,000 in order to get Harley the best possible artificial limbs and to help adapt there home so he has the best life possible. They have set up the Harley Slack Fund to do this.

Many events are being planned to do this.
If you can support this cause in any way, either by a way of a financial contribution or just messages of support it would help this family enormously.
