Well a "new era" starts this afternoon,the first ever in our country of floodlit county championship matches,play starting at 2pm,finishing no later than 10pm.
The pink (duke) ball will also be used,and apparently not many sides are expected to score highly,or for even games to last the 4 days,we shall see.
Lancs are in Birmingham v Warwickshire,up against Giles as well
