It's nonsense to say league debut is the barrometer, boyata, ibrahim, tosin etc all made their full debuts as starters in Cup games but first league games were as subs so don't count?

Evans is more than likely correct, Foden should be putting that to rights before the end of the season though which is probably why they've chosen to run this article when they have.
