Really? There's no internet footage that I can see of Spanish plod walloping City fans outside the away entrance at the Bernabeu last season, and apart from a very short report in the Mirror referring to "isolated incidents" of fans being "indiscriminately struck by police outside the ground" very little reference to it in the print press either, but it certainly happened cos I watched the bastards doing it.
Maybe the OP exaggerated. Not the worst crime in the world, and it's not like Franco's thugs haven't got gobfuls of previous

BBC journalist Phil Mackie says Leicester City fans were subjected to what seemed like an unprovoked attack from Spanish police, a day before they face Atletico Madrid in a Champions League quarter-final tie.

Security is on high alert after German club Borussia Dortmund's bus was attacked, prompting their home game against Monaco to be postponed.

Mackie, out in Madrid for BBC 5 live, said fans were left "with bruises, hit on the head, arms, knees and a couple of them dazed".

"Battered" was the word used on the BBC News, but you're right about last year.
 
Bunch of shithouses Madrid coppers, get their panties wet because English football fans are in town.

You get Spanish lads stealthily knifing Brits/Irish and slipping away before seen on the Costa an all. Cowardly streak exists with some when we're there in numbers - odd.
