    The loudness if a band is determined by the number of days whistling induced in your ears...
    The Jam, Buzzcocks, Rainbow and other combos delivered 1 day of whistling
    The Damned, The Stranglers and other heavier outfits delivered 2 days of whistling.
    Motorhead delivered 5 days!
    Or as Lenny would say "Eh? What? Pardon?"

    RIP Lemmy.
    Going to miss the annual pilgrimage to the Apollo.
    First the Ramones dying off, now Motorhead. Gotta find another mental live band!

    Lucky to have Met the man a few times using my Taff rock and roll connection. True legend and always good to us as kids. End of the motor head era for me

    He used to be part of the Rockin Vickers in Blackpool and all round the North before he got famous and I bought their single record Dandy, it's a sad day today RIP Lemmy.
