Sorry for your loss mate. As others have said. The grief never goes but it gets replaced over time with fond memories and better coping mechanisms. If you need a chat like TCIB said I have an ear you can borrow.

I don't really post much anymore but my brother (who isn't a member) and I have read all your replies and can only echo our Dad.

She was a stubborn moaning woman and she went out like it, but she was our stubborn moaning woman and we'll truly miss her.

My dear 78 year old mum passed tonight.

Knew it was coming she'd got COPD and was a bit cantankerous for the past few years, her heart was in the right place and we all loved her.

Luckily it was quick, admitted Saturday evening so didn't suffer too much, managed to hang on to see her grandson's today which was good for all of us to say goodbye together

God bless you mum and thanks for being my mum.
