While searching for evidence to hammer us over our youth recruitment policy it would appear the only evidence the FA found was to implcate Liverpool for tapping up a schoolboy on the books of Stoke City. Which means they could be hit with a transfer ban.

But being Liverpool of course, they will only get a trivial fine - maybe a meaningless points deduction once the final League table for 2016-17 is sorted out. Should it ever be proved that we made an approach against the rules though the punishment will be severe. The press are certainly gagging for us to be hammered and that's for sure. Mainly under instruction from Utd's PR dept I think.

Lets hope City's due process evidence is 100% foolproof - unlike the anti doping charge.
