At last, those magical European nights under the lights where the most knowledgeable football fans in the world suck the ball into the net with their passion and desire will soon be upon us again. The European conquest of black armbands, wreaths and minute silences dedicated to frozen chickens is going to be truly awe-inspiring this time round. The thought of a high-pitched Carragher, Macmanamanamanaman, Phil Big nose and Slippy Stevie working themselves into a screeching frenzy as they educate viewers and share their musings on the magnificent European history of Liverpool is going to be a real treat and spectacle for all. 1000's of Liverpool fans embracing the Major cities of Europe whilst sharing their own cultural traditions is an inspiration to all.

So overcome am I that I'm tempted to weep a tear and write some poetry.
good batch of meth in the projects....

Until they lose the qualifier.

I'd say an above par finish. You'd expect Utd and Arsenal to be better than us especially after the money they spent (and we didn't spend). Not that's their fault we didn't spend in Jan. Such a gamble not to buy a forward when Mane was away and subsequently injured - could have gone horribly wrong.

Some great performances and some fucking pathetic performances. We remain able to beat the best and lose to the worst.

A good finish for Liverpool but some problems are in the post

Losing Mane and a few extra fixtures around Xmas and New Year should not have caused the dramatic dip in form that it did

Absolutely agree, it was a huge gamble not to strengthen the squad. We need at least 6/7 players to compete next year. Good to have the chance to be back in Champs League though, we'll soon see if the owners are serious.

City Utd and Arsenal will all spend big in summer and all 3 already have better squads.

American owners aren't fond of spending big serious money thats for sure.
Klopps relied on his knowledge of players so far and not gone in for any huge signings, wonder if they'll feel they have to change that.
I'm betting on the same strategy which can realise decent players - not sure they'll take you to the next level, it'll all come out in the wash.

We can all relax. Nights under the Lights (TM) are back. I have it on very good authority, a proper ITK, connected with the club, not saying too much but he's German and wears spectacles, that next season will be their year. Now who's going to call me wrong?
