Whelan hates Ashley for two reasons (allegedly)

1) Ashley was the one who brought the price fixing on football shirts to the attention of the authorities
2) Ashley tried to 'scupper' the sale of the fitness clubs owned by JJB, which could save the company. Apparenty Sports Direct wrote to their landlords (something about leases) and suggested to Whelan he should let JJB go bust.

I'm no fan of either and agree on point 1 but point 2 seems a bit harsh (although I don't know all the facts and it is business).
