Maine Road FC v West Didsbury & Chorlton AFC tonight...

Maine Road, as most will know, were formed at the old ground's social club (1950s), play in sky blue and since their formation to the present day have been funded and ran by a few City supporters. West Didsbury and Chorlton also have some big Blues amongst their ranks and are doing quite a bit for local youth football. The last meeting between the two clubs attracted nearly 700 people.

Something to consider if you've not got plans tonight anyway. Maine Road play on Brantingham Road, Chorlton, so within a short walk of a few good boozers, etc. Normally about a fiver to get in, and they've always got something warm on the stove. Kicks off at 7:45pm.

Good call, wish I were closer I would go and have a look at that. Anyone who has'nt given non league a try should go along. Loads of great little clubs all over the North West who are always going to be grateful for a few quid in the coffers and frankly offer far better value than the Premier league.
