Benalmadena Pueblo is worth a visit, the old village above the town. Lovely old squares, nice restaurants and bars. Seville two hours by train.

We cycled along the front to Benalmadena, saw a Rag shirt in the distance and decided the cycling was done for the day! We turned back in case Spanish Rag flu touched us!

A good move, another one would not to cycle up to the Pueblo. Our bus was struggling on the hills.

Not sure when you're going. There's a catering college [ Escuela hosteleria ] at Benalmadena Pueblo that does gourmet meals. We'd always been outside term time, then had a chance to go during the term - then had to cancel with the volcanic ash... I hope it's still going when next we visit.

Friday 5th January until Tuesday 9th. I’ll be touch and go for the Bristol City match if we’re delayed but also be celebrating being 21 again.
