Do kids (or "da kidz") still play this??

Only reason I ask was I was round my parents house earlier and found some. (I hadn't "lost my marbles" before anyone asks!!)

Bombers, whirly's, whirly bombers etc. remember winning and losing loads as a child.

A simple game that gave me hours of pleasure

Used to have marble week back in the day at my old school. Beaver road. Great memories.

I lost mine when I saw David James coming on as a sub TO PLAY UPFRONT.

  8. Dobbers were the big ones. My dad used to know a mechanic and he used to break open wheel bearings from commercial vehicles and give me the ball bearings. All nice, round, shiney and heavy....the memories

I might be wrong but my recollection is he didn't come on as sub. Weaver came on for someone else and James went up front.

So maybe they were already lost before then.
