No more extra time in cup competitions. Straight to the penalty shootout. Only it won't be conventional penalties; the players will have eight seconds to score from a starting point 25 metres from goal. Games to be played over 4 quarters rather than 2 halves (more coaching input is the idea behind that, apparently). Restricting players to 60 games a year.
