Still not done...? (report is from this afternoon) Deportivo coach now saying "if" he's signed on loan deal, he'll need some time off and might not be ready for the start of their season..

Colombian international Marlos Moreno will have a few days off and will not be available for the start of the Spanish League if Deportivo get close its assignment. Galicians coach, Gaizka Garitano, explained at a press conference that if Marlos Moreno becomes the twelfth signing of Deportivo needed "vacation". "Whether or not you are going to need a period of rest because last week was to start competing and would not be League," he told reporters. The Colombian player won the Copa Libertadores with Atletico Nacional on Wednesday of last week and then he and his agent, Eladio Tamayo, confirmed that his next destination would be Manchester City and the England team was going to give in to Deportivo in the 2016-17 season. The two landed in Coruna on Sunday to close his move Whites and even met the player who can be his new teammates costume. On Tuesday, after the presentation of the 9 new faces has joined Deportivo, the counselor social club area, Pita Martin said he hoped the player signing was resolved on Wednesday, but it was not so. Before the player landing in the Spanish League team has to be built by Manchester City, which for now has not officially hiring Colombian. Marlos Moreno, who in September will turn 20, is one of the promises of football in his country, and although it takes less than a year as a professional, has won the Colombian League, the Libertadores and has worn the national team jersey absolute in the Copa America, in qualifying for the World Cup Russia
 
I have a mental image of him wandering around Spain asking who his club is..City, Nacional, Deportivo, none of them, all of them and where does he live? ;-)

If all of the reports are accurate (impossible I know) then it would appear that Tkixi is bidding against himself. I could see Ed Woodward doing that strangely enough.
 
Can anybody explain what all this as to do with Deportivo other than taking him on loan from us?
What have they got to do with the deal to buy him from Colombia?

Hi mate...Deportivo have nothing to do with the purchase, transfer fee. As part of his personal terms, it seems like we agreed to send him out on loan, so he could get game time experience and he's turned up at Deportivo before we've had full agreement with 3rd parties...rumours were also saying there was a disagreement over loan terms (1 or 2 years) no one really knows what the hold up is but Deportivo wont have any "rights" to the player (other than the 12month loan agreement)
