Maximum Wage Law - Corbyn

The bloke is has never learned any thing from his student ban the bomb days, why is he constantly carping about 'inequality?'
Does he think we're all spending every waking moment fretting about why that bloke up the hill lives in a £2 million pound
house and we don't? The standard of living in the UK is higher now than it's ever been, we don't have an economy stultified by
socialism, it's the fastest growing in Europe, yet he thinks shit like this will be a vote winner.

so if looks like Jezza would like a maximum wage law and said:

So would you agree with any maximum pay law and what would be the top limit you'd want?
It wouldn't work, taking the footballers as an example they'd all set up limited companies and divert the vast majority of their earnings through those.

Say what you want when you know you have no chance of being elected.

Best £3 I ever spent.
There are plenty of naughty Tories swelling the ranks of Jezza's enormous membership. Red Ed's 3 quid a pop
joining fee has certainly given Jez credence, probably the biggest blunder ever, as they're now stuck with him.

There certainly is.

Having thought about it for a few seconds I can see an advantage to a maximum wage for public service employees. With the PM being at the top. So those managers, actors, Drs etc working for the BBC, NHS etc earn less than the PM. Ah wait... no it wont work. Never mind.

I think that the vast majority of people would agree that the salaries of some CEO has spiralled out of control and that's not the politics of envy it's just plain an simple greed. Having an arbitrary wage cap for the top earners is not feasible or workable. A good point that was mooted by May (when she had a bit of a rush of blood to the head moment) and then she completely backtracked on would be having a proper employee representation on the salary rewards committee. Every organisation is different and some CEO work a damn site harder than others. But having proper checks and balances would be where I would start this process.

Why would you? If I want to pay my window cleaner £2,000/hour what fucking business is it of yours?

Performance?

Can only be judged by the respective employer.

If they think someone is worth x amount then they will pay it. My only gripe is that those companies and individuals then do everything they can to not pay all due taxes and it's tax law and enforcement that is a priority imo.

Politics of envy. Let's impose a salary cap and therefore reduce tax revenue with it! Great idea! Further proof the man is a monumental shitwit!

Errrrr.........everyone of the Walton family (who own Walmart / ASDA) is a billionaire.....they have so much money that if they earned no more and each of them spent £1 million a day it would take 240 years before they ran out.

And yet in the UK and USA the staff the majority they employ receive benefits (either housing / child tax credits / income support or (in the case of the USA Food stamps).....so essentially as a country we provide income support to employees of ASDA so that the Waltons can walk away with their obscene profits

How much money does any individual actually need
