Not the worst thing. Give the kids a shot and there isnt a whole lot riding on results now until the finals.

Ladies are into the W League grand final this Sunday away to Perth. Opportunity to go back to back for the first time in the Leagues history.

@TCIB do you think you can find a stream for this?

Fair enough. Thought it was just top two (which is probably beyond us). First team struggling though and have been for a while. So looking forward to seeing a bit of a shakeup.

Game tonight. If you've got nothing better to do tune in, no big loss for you if you can't.

7 regular starters are out. Cahill due to straight red for abusing the ref.

Bouzanis out for 5 weeks for calling Berisha a f..cking Gypsy.

Fornaroli, Brandan, Brattan, Malik and Muscat all for accumulation of 5 yellows.

Having said that we have enough fit seniors to put together a competitive side with a few of the youth players to fill the bench.

Incidentally the youth team a couple weeks ago won the League. Which makes 2 youth titles in 3 seasons since takeover.

Isn't going to extreme heat tonight so hopefully we can show some energy and get a result.

    Zero confidence but ever hopeful.

    Non pen given to Brisbane
Nailed on pen not awarded to MC
Tight decision on the offside, but IMO, quite rightly allowed as the attacker is given the benefit of the doubt

The ref's evened up his poor penalty decision by awarding that one to MC

    2-2 Game on

Didn't expect that. At half time I feared the worst. A very dubious pen for them and a possible offside right on halftime had all the ingredients of a 5 or 6 goal smashing. To the credit of lads they came out and really worked and for the first time since the cup final I was proud of them. Our pen was very soft and for all was a blatant even upperer but Kamaus goal was a cracker.

The youth players all showed enough to make a case for gametime in the future. And having a Keeper that is primarily a keeper just makes sense. 1 point in the context of having 9 senior players out is huge and maybe this is the jolt the boys need.

Onto a few quiet scotchs now a get ready for the chicks tomorrow night. A heartwarming performance.
